Once I achieved my goal of becoming an attorney, my task was to determine what area of practice I wanted to focus. My initial legal efforts were primarily in real estate and, while I enjoyed the real estate practice, after a year or so, I joined the Frank Law Firm. My desire was to be a part of a firm that is known and respected for the quality of work that it provides.
Raised in Wichita Falls, I spent 20 years in Austin both in sales and as an equity trader (where I earned my Series 7, 55 and 63 financial licenses). I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at the University of Texas at Austin and my law degree from St. Mary’s University School of Law where I served on the St. Mary’s Law Journal.
My goal is to provide the finest client experience possible. Crucial to that endeavor is my ability to truly listen to what the client is saying and the goals they are trying to achieve. My entire focus is to help my clients attain those goals.
It is vitally important that my clients fully understand their individualized estate plan and how all the pieces of the puzzle fit together. Communication, proficiency and attention to detail are critical components in that process. It is imperative to me that when my clients leave the office, they have the peace of mind that their planning has been completely taken care of.
I am married to Jennifer Caras, a local family law attorney, and we live in Braeswood Place along with our son, Aaron, and dog, Peyton. Because of my love for animals and dogs in particular, I started volunteering at K-9 Angels Rescue where I assist with dogs desperately needing adoption. When I am not working or volunteering, I enjoy traveling, staying active, boating, sports and reading.
